By utilizing the MDA Take Action platform, you are opting in to the MDA database. MDA will not share or sell personal information gathered via these web sites with third parties. However, MDA reserves the right to disclose your personal identifying information as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process, to operate the Site properly, or to protect ourselves or our users.

When you Take Action to support a MDA campaign by sending a letter to your Senator, Congressperson or other representative, MDA will forward your personal information, such as your name and residential address, to the target of the action.

Marketing messages and emails will be sent to users who have opted-in during a Take Action campaign or other sign up methodologies. Users will have the ability to opt-out of these marketing messages in each message.

The MDA collects your mobile telephone number when you opt in to receive messages from us via your mobile device.  Every text message MDA sends contains information on how to opt-out from receiving text messages.
